MATERIALS

Here you will find the PVC materials and cuts that I made in constructing this car. Although I listed the total amount of feet needed it is best to purchase a bit more as errors in cutting do happen to all of us. Take time to plan out your cuts to get the most useful pieces out of each section of PVC.

The top rail of a chain link fence fits perfectly inside the 1-1/4 inch PVC and adds strength to the areas needed. Also I found that a 3/4" dowel rod  inside the 3/4" PVC steering column helps as well, otherwise the steering column bows when you turn the wheels.
